Our research team will reach out to you through email or an offer if you may be a good fit for a study. They identify potential participants based on your answers to surveys and questions in the Evidation platform. The best way to be considered for studies is to complete these surveys. You must be a United States resident age 18 years or older to redeem points. Remember, use of Evidation is subject to our Terms of Use.

Once you earn 10,000 points you can redeem them for charity. When you redeem, you’ll see an option that says, “Donate to charity.” Select this option, then choose from the list of charities we support. That’s it!
We can only donate to charities on our list—but we love hearing feedback from you about additional groups we should support. Please reach out here to send us suggestions.
If you still want to donate to a charity that’s not on our list, we suggest redeeming your points as a bank deposit and then donating directly.
To get started, connect a health app to Evidation. Then enable activity sharing with Evidation for each connected app. (You may see a notification pop up on your mobile device asking you to allow activity sharing.) Your data will then sync automatically.
Note: Syncing data generated by wearables works a little differently for each device. Please see our FAQs about your specific wearable for more information.
Still having trouble? Check to make sure the correct login information was used when connecting your app. If the wrong login was used, please disconnect the app, then reconnect it to Evidation using the correct login information.
Finally, check that both your mobile device and apps are running the latest software version.
If you continue to have problems syncing your activities, please reach out to us here —and include screenshots if possible.
Data syncs happen approximately every 4-6 hours and can take up to 24 hours to appear on your account. If you don’t see your recent activity data, check back in a few hours.
Note: If you're using a wearable, such as a Fitbit or Garmin, you’ll need to open the Fitbit or Garmin app to sync the data with Evidation. We suggest doing this once per day.
For more app-specific troubleshooting information, check out these articles.
We’re only able to award points for apps in our Connected Apps list.
